The quote that was a guess.

Somebody in Leander once got a deck price scribbled on the back of a card.
It was fast. It was also wrong, by a lot, once the slope behind the house
showed up in the real work. Stairs nobody counted. Posts twice as tall as
the card assumed. An oak in the way.

So this site asks to walk the yard before it gives a number. The price comes
written out, line by line, after somebody has stood on the hill and looked at
where the footings will go. Slower by a day. Honest the whole way through.
